Space Availability - The Learning Commons

The floor has 4 viewing rooms.  All rooms can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons. Each room has a TV, white board and its own aircondition unit. 

Viewing Room Usage Guidelines 

Please read!

• The viewing rooms are available for use by all bona fide students, faculty, and staff of the University.
• The maximum number of users should not exceed the room's capacity of four (4) persons.
• Use of the rooms is on a first come first served basis via the library space booking system (https://libcal.dlsu.edu.ph/r/new). Please be guided by the following:
  • Reservation may be made one day before the intended date of use.
  • Users are allowed to book only one viewing room per day.
  • An activated MyLibrary account is required in booking the rooms.
  • The Libraries reserves the right to cancel the reservation of user who fail to show up within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled reservation
• User should present his/her valid DLSU ID card for validation of schedule reservation and claiming of key and remote control (for air-conditioning, DVD player and TV).
• Use of the room is limited to a maximum of 2 hours. Extension of use may be considered subject to the room's availability.
• Users of the room shall be held liable for damages and/or losses caused by negligent use of the facility.
• The following are prohibited inside the discussion rooms:
  • Eating (Student Handbook Sec. 5.3.1.16)
  • Gambling/Playing cards/board games/musical instruments (Student Handbook Sec. 5.3.2.14)
  • Leaving personal belongings unattended (Student Handbook Sec. 5.3.2.3)
  • Public display of intimacy (Student Handbook Sec. 5.3.2.10)
  • Scalping of Library spaces and services counts as a major offense (Student Handbook Sec. 5.3.1.14)
  • Moving/adding chairs and other furnitures and equipments
• The Libraries reserves the right to approve/disapprove the use of the viewing rooms.

NOTE: A confirmation link will be sent to the DLSU email address provided on the form. Proceed to the Information Reference counter at 7F Henry Sy Sr. Hall at least five (5) minutes before your scheduled booking.
