12 November 2024, Tuesday
12:00 NN - 04:00 PM
IAIS is a week-long event featuring exhibitions, free learning sessions, and interactive games designed to enhance students’ IL skills and raising awareness on the critical role of information literacy in their pursuit of academic and research excellence. This year's IAIS program is centered on achieving a deeper understanding of the responsible and ethical use of AI-driven resources within academic settings.
This activity aims to:
- equip participants with the skills to critically evaluate and effectively navigate the ethical implications of AI-driven contents and potential biases of digital information sources; and,
- increase participants' awareness and foster a deep understanding of the ethical principles for AI use in education, explain how these principles apply to specific AI applications, and justify their decisions regarding the ethical use of AI in their own work.
