SESSION 1: May ADHD ka ba? In-Person
By Maria Mitchelle Tizon Aguedan
Mitchelle is a wife, a mother, and an ADHD advocate. She has experienced a lot of ridicule and bullying from peers and family just because she is "different." Later in life, she was diagnosed with ADHD and Bipolar Type 2 making her realise that she is different because of her condition. However, she did not let these experiences go to waste, as she is now a Board of Trustee for ADHD Society of the Philippines. She is now an advocate for people who are diagnosed with ADHD and Bipolar and she strives to share her life experiences in the hopes that the society will be more accepting of people who are tagged as different. Neurodivergence does not have to be isolating, rather it can be viewed as one of the best things that can make people different and unique.
