SUMMARY:#StudyintheUS : U.S. Legal Education Information Session
DESCRIPTION:This #StudyintheUS session aims to provide JD law students with 
 insights into pursuing legal education opportunities in the United States\, 
 including LL.M. programs\, admission requirements\, and scholarship 
 options. Topics include the U.S. legal education system and LL.M. 
 pathways\, application and admission processes\, and academic and cultural 
 adjustment for international law students. \n\nThis session also highlights 
 the journeys of Lasallians who pursued legal studies in the United States\, 
 offering insights on academic life\, personal growth\, and leadership 
 development. One speaker is a Fulbright alum\, sharing experiences from the 
 prestigious Fulbright Program\, while the other is a Lasallian who also 
 studied in the U.S. Participants will gain valuable perspectives on U.S. 
 legal education\, cross-cultural experiences\, and the skills needed to 
 thrive as future leaders in the legal profession.\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE: The 
 event is available onsite for DLSU community members and online for 
 non-DLSU participants.\n\n\n\n\nPRIVACY NOTICE\n\nThe DLSU Libraries is 
 dedicated to protecting private information collected from its clients in 
 accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.\n\nAll personal information\, 
 such as name\, college/office/unit\, and patron type\, collected from this 
 online registration form will be used by the Libraries for the following 
 purposes:\n to send a reminder to confirm attendance\n to include the name 
 of the participant in the certificate\n to profile participants by 
 college/department/program in the library term report.\n\nAccess to your 
 personal information is limited to authorized personnel of the Libraries. 
 The collected personal information will be properly disposed of one month 
 after the event.\n\nAll photos and videos collected during the event will 
 be used for documentation and uploaded/published in the social media 
 accounts\, Library Newsette\, and website of the Libraries.
