The DLSU Libraries welcome visiting researchers and visiting students from other institutions.
To ensure a smooth and productive experience, we have outlined the following guidelines and responsibilities that you are expected to adhere to during your visit.
Please review them carefully.
Responsibilities as a Visiting Researcher
- As a visiting researcher, you are expected to comply with the university and library's rules and regulations.
- All library materials are protected by the Copyright Law (Section 178, R.A. 8293). Unauthorized distribution or reproduction of library materials, whether in print or online, is strictly prohibited.
- Please make sure to bring your own device and have a reliable mobile data connection if possible.
- In the event of any untoward incident or issues that may arise while on campus or within the library premises, please report them immediately to the attending library staff.
- Visits are only allowed starting two weeks after the beginning of each term until two weeks before the term ends.
- Walk-ins will not be permitted entry.
- On the date of your visit, bring a valid school/university/company ID, a copy of the email approval sent by LORA, and a referral letter from your school/university librarian.
- If applicable, bring your valid consortium ID or DLSU alumni card.
Restrictions
- All materials are for room use only.
- Use of AV equipment and materials from the MSS Section is restricted.
- Access to the Discussion Rooms and the Faculty Corner is restricted.
- Access to archival materials will require approval from the University Archivist.
